Asthma is a chronic inflammatory airway disease that causes recurring episodes of wheezing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath due to narrowed airways and excess mucus. Trimbow combines three medications—beclomethasone (an anti-inflammatory steroid), formoterol (a long-acting airway opener), and glycopyrrolate (a muscle relaxant for the lungs)—to target multiple aspects of asthma.
