Krystal Biotech Vyjuvek (beremagene geperpavec) $KRYS

for dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa

BLA

MHRA approved beremagene geperpavec (Vyjuvek) for the treatment of dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa.

About

Dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB) is an inherited condition that causes fragile skin prone to painful blisters and wounds from minor friction or trauma. Vyjuvek is a topical gene therapy that delivers functional copies of the COL7A1 gene directly to skin cells, helping them produce the collagen needed to strengthen skin layers. By restoring this structural protein, Vyjuvek may reduce blistering and improve wound healing in DEB patients.
