About
Dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa is an inherited condition that causes fragile skin to blister and tear from minor friction or trauma. Vyjuvek is a topical gene therapy designed to deliver a working copy of the collagen gene directly to skin wounds. This aims to help the body produce the needed structural protein, potentially enabling wound healing and reducing new blistering.
Pivotal trial
This is a 112-week (approximately two-year) open-label extension study of Beremagene Geperpavec (B-VEC), for participants aged 2 months and older, who have been diagnosed with Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (DEB). Participants will be dosed weekly with the topical B-VEC therapy
