What this means
Jakafi XR is an extended-release version of ruxolitinib, a pill that blocks overactive immune signals in certain blood disorders and transplant complications. FDA approved the once-daily version for adults with myelofibrosis, polycythemia vera, or graft-versus-host disease who were already using the twice-daily form.
