FDA approves zidesamtinib for adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer who have received prior systemic therapy.
What this means
Jideytro is a pill that targets a specific genetic change, called ROS1, found in some non-small cell lung cancers. The FDA has now approved Jideytro for patients whose cancer has progressed after trying a different ROS1-targeted therapy.
